Okay, whenever I can afford it, I want my own gaming console. I haven't been into any true gaming in ages. Right now I'm just your typical art geek, getting my degree in graphic design.
So far all the gaming I've done has been PC based, and the ones I've played most were Flyff, Wonderland Online, RuneScape (Don't laugh I have lots of great friends there who play), and Star Wars Battlefront. My brother has his own Xbox, but he's had some issues with it. I've heard people put down PlayStation, however I typically enjoy that. Most of the games I've owned in the past are PS games, typically fighting games like Tekken or Mortal Kombat. I've also enjoyed games like Tomba, Rayman, etc. Yeah, I have a strange taste in games.
So what would any of you suggest? I'm sure that in the end I'll just go with what I like 
I just like to hear "What's good and why?" I don't want opinions, but what you've experienced, and what feels enjoyable. I'm tired of hearing, "Xbox sucks get gamecube," or something daft like that.
