should pcsx2 work on my pc?

   should pcsx2 0.9.4 work on my pc.
   specs:
   intel celeron D 3.33 Ghzs
   1gb ram( 2 512mb ddr2)
   250gb hdd + 160gb hdd(sata 2)
   directx 9.0c
   nvidia geforce 8400 gs 256mb

   but it seems to run at 2-3 fps.
   can anyone help me plz
