.. and actually this layout has been up for a few days or so, and the new feature added is just emoticon lol (well to be honest i want to play around and add more new features) but since the forum software i'm currently using is still in early stage (although it's stable) i decided not to play around with it for now

Yeah I would love to have second host / re-direct. Once I get a dedicated 10MB/10MB or better connection, I want to turn my server into a full fledged web server. Perhaps once the 1TB drive get here I could offer server space to you Reaper ? You know I love to help.... nerd core !!!!

Usually dedicated server (good specs with terabyte bandwidth) are around 100 - 160 USD, so you just need to be prepared to pay around that area

Thank-you very much for the welcome back....lol.. I don't have my Phios connection yet (15M/15M-symmetrical ) I am using a 10mb down/512kb up cable connection at the moment, but it works. And my current server is only a 2.8GHZ Pentium 4, with 768megs of ram. Once again, I am not rich so I have to budget and use what I have and what ppl give me. We just lost my partners duo core machine due to bills (oh well) besides depending on your connection, what really matters next is how much work each machine (server/pc) has to do. My server for instance doesn't handle the role of DHCP server on my LAN, I let one of my advanced routers do that. All my server does is run the realm, the website, the SQL database, and the team speak server....lol.. running win server 2k3. Heck I don't even have a monitor or mouse connected to it..lol. I have to use remote desktop connection to run the server cause I don't have enough monitors.@ Reaper
Hey brother hope you are well. Yes..... file server for sure man, because then you (or ppl needing to link files for projects) could upload to the file server and we wouldn't have to worry about using sites that would rather have you pay to host files.
and also, how about the remarsworld.reaper-x.net address.. I use dyn dns, so just let me know how you want to set it up, I would be proud to wear the reaper-x name. Done ... you can test remarsworld.reaper-x.net or www.remarsworld.reaper-x.net (i've added www just to make sure that if you use www it'll still works)
btw as a side note, i forwarded the request to your selfip.com address, so if you changed your selfip.com address, you'll need to tell me the new address
but if you have static ip address, i can set the zone directly to your ip address
as for smiley actually as long as you type the commonly used chars for emoticon (like on vb forums, ipb forums, etc), it'll be converted automatically into smiley

@ Reaper -- thank-you, and yeah I use a dynamic IP address, and my router supports DYNDNS. So leave it set to the selfip.com address until I buy static IP address. Thank-you, did I say thank-you ?....lol. I am proud to help out in any way I can, and proud to "wear" the reaper-x name.
