   OK This is not my work but it seems people are wanting new content so I will put up a couple of things.

   MaNGOS ~ AMBER~
   UDB + MaNGOS + ScriptDev2 + Patches
   Compiled by ShivaJiva101

   This is a standalone dual server with MaNGOS, Apache, PHP, SQLyog, MySQL, Website ALL PRE-INSTALLED! Plus UDB databases are created & populated & installer will extract dbc, map & vmap files from your client. Also included is AmberGUI a small program I created to launch and backup your servers & restart them if they terminate or become unresponsive as well as hiding the console windows from the desktop and tools including dependancy files extraction. Just a different flavour of MaNGOS for your consumption & with updates that are released frequently [7-14 days] your always upto date. Enjoy! *burp*

   Details...Download is 3~50Mb depending on version.
   Requires Netframework 3.5 SP1 or greater. Just run installer and READ the pre-installation notes and then check the \docs folder for ReadMe.rtf and read the revision logs if you want to know whats been fixed.

   Im downloading and installing this now, Virus Free, scanned with Avast and Kaspersky 2k9. It does configure mysql-nt to connect to the net through the windows firewall.

   ok I forgot to mention this earlier. Make sure that mysql, php or anything else like that is off (ctrl, alt, delte) that will cause issues.. try that first and let me know. If that does not work, I will go to main site and see about a solution

   now.. if i got 3.1.1 installed, and i try to install the full ver. it cant assemble Vmaps, what should i do?

   this is for version 3.0.9551 and will not work on the new version 3.1.1 as of yet

    It will not make the VMAPS!! I get the Maps, DBC, and Buildings, but the VMAPS dir is empty. When it tries to make it, it just sits there at a blank courser doing nothing.

    Ok Ya, NVM about the previous post, i finally got it to work build the Vmaps, i had to manually run it for some reason.

    Ok anyways. NOW the servers load, BUT i am getting Tuns of errors in the SQL Database, and when Mangos hits the ScriptedDev section, usually the AuctionhousBot loading, it crashes.. Most of the errors are Corpses, Characters, and Incorrect Information errors. I get a couple Loot Icon errors also. Any idea?

    As if it was something I did wrong, since this has a installation program that does it all for ya.

    hmm seems like it did not complete all the way, run the extraction again and when the cmd windows close let it keep going cause its not actually done just yet. if you look at the amber gui, you will see that its still extracting everything. Did you ever even get a box pop up asking you if it was ok to extract to second folder? if not that means the process never finished fully.I have had no problem with this build and neither has anyone else that uses it on the rage forum site. Seems I may have to make a guide for this after all.

    It exxtracted all the files, i had to do it all manually. BUT the Database is screwey, it gives me alot of errors. I ended up finding another SQL database that functions. Ended up moving some directories, Changing config files, and combining multiple databases from many other people. Bascially i just canabalized a tun of repacks and made my own. I made it where i just have to use one .BAT icon on the desktop to start everything at once.

    For anybody with the vmaps problem, all you have to do is go to Mangos-->Data folder. Go to both of the servers and cut and paste the vmaps files into the vmaps, cause for some reason it'll just leave it in data folder.

    @Maushin:

    ok i've downloaded and installed amber and i got it running, it has one problem it installs the v-maps files outside of the v-maps folder in both server1 and server2 folders and i had to move the files inside the empty v-maps folders. everything is up and running great now tho.

    one question tho i have a server now running is it possible to put my characters.sql and realmd.sql into this mangos server and not loose all my accounts and characters from the other mangos server?

    You would have to export the Characters and Relmd database, and import it into the new databases. This should keep your characters and information about the server. BUT it likely will not keep the items you have. I belive those are stored under the Mangos database, where the majority of the information is.

    Im still working on doing this on my system. The problem i am running into is that my original Mangos database is over 240 meg in an SQL file format. I get three problems when tring to import. One error says its missing colums and cant import, another error says the SQL file code is incorrect, and the major issue im runiing ito is lag and lockups. When importing such a large file, tho its just a text file, the computer locks up or hangs. I have not found a client or way to import the files into a new database small bits at a time. It loads the entire 240 meg into memory then cant find enough memory to process the information.

    Personally, i use HeidiSql for my client, but i have triend many different clients.

    [13:17:01] realmd [3916] was terminated externally...

    Downloaded and installed without any issues, but realmd keeps crashing immediately after attempting to start with the above error.

    OS: Windows XP x86

    Any help appreciated, let me know if you need more information.

    hmm thats odd. were you sure to terminate mysql, and apache in by doing ctrl+alt+delete then restarting the program? if that does not work I will check the site to see if some one may have an answer

    I am having a slight issue. Server starts perfectly fine. I can log in, create characters and play. but after like 5 min of play, the Mangosd.exe server crashes. any idea?

    I got amber v7689 installed and it works ok.After i start i can play and i didn't notice anything wrong in game,but during server start up i notice error message.Something like "Table 'achievement_criteria_data' have data for not supported criteria type <Entry: 5274 Type: 109>, ignore."...And same thing with <Entry: 5275 Type: 109> How can i fix this,or can i play without surprise errors or crashes no meter what i do??? 10x

    You should be able to play with no problems and I am forwarding all errors to Shivajiva the creator. Once an update is out I will post it up or if there is a quick fix before hand I will do that as well.

    Alos, lord Baal, do you have dotnet framework 3.5 installed or do you have the standard 3.0? I was told to ask ya as that may be a problem.

    Its 3.5, I make it a habit to keep my OS updated 100% at all times.

    Another thing. I, so far, noticed some NPC issues. Mainly in Dalaran that i know of riht now. I made an Alliance Character, tele'd him to Dal, and almost instantly i attracted any and every Horde NPC in the area and they attacked me. The guards and anyone horde. I basically had to turn my GM mode on, just to enter Dal safely.
