Hi there, I managed to set up the server. I think it's working and running fine until I launch the wow client. For some reason the client still connects to blizzard server even though I have changed my realmlist.wtf to
[code]
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
[/code]
As a result I can't login using my newly created account on mangos.
any idea what's going on? I used reaper mangos 5953 (I know it's old but version 2.4.2 is good enough for me)
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

were there any automatic updates? normally any blizz update will revert your realmlist to its default settings and point back to blizz's servers. in your realmlist have this:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
set patchlist 127.0.0.1
add in the set patchlist line to prevent automatic updates from blizz. This could be your problem. See is that does it.

Hello!
I just registered.
And I've got a question about that realmlist file thingy tooo.
I did these changes...
set realmlist wow.wos.lv
set patchlist wow.wos.lv
And when I try to login it shows "Unable to validate game version"
Why is that? My game version is "World of Warcraft v3.1.3.9947"
