Ranged creatures bug ( all ranged enemies don't work)

    Hello, i've run into a strange and random bug. Since last editing my mangosd.conf file I noticed no ranged enemies working.

    I enter combat like normal, Except they run to me and then i get the out of sight or ranged message. I need to run back to the enemies original pull location andd then it runs back and I can fight / kill it.

    Yet some practical reasons you cannot always run back to its spawn or you will pull more enemies.

    I checked in my mangosd.conf and found nothing wrong. I had modified creature damage all around and hp. Along with player rates.

    Is there any solution to this?

    Ok after some testing this is actually preventable. If the player slowly moves to the NPC creature aggro zone and stands still allowing the ranged to reach him/her completely it bugs and you need to kyte the graphic of the mob to it's original pull location. it resets it.

    To prevent it, get within range and pull faster and move forward a few yards or fully rush the target. Feel free to stop anywhere after a few steps.

    Still trying to find the cause.

    Are your vmaps set up properly? and are they enabled in your mangos.conf?

    I believe my vmaps are setup properly. This is from the Mangos.conf file

    vmap.enableLOS = 1
    vmap.enableHeight = 1
    vmap.ignoreMapIds = "369"
    vmap.ignoreSpellIds = "7720"
    DetectPosCollision = 1
    TargetPosRecalculateRange = 1.5
    UpdateUptimeInterval = 10
    MaxCoreStuckTime = 0
    AddonChannel = 1

    ------

    Unless I need to enable them again from the mangos console they seem to be enabled. No errors occur while launching the server either.

    I turned LOS off, still same problem.

    I re-extracted all the dbc,maps and vmaps. same problem.

    Again there are no errors in the log files pertaining to all ranged creatures. Very bizarre. Also i've noticed that when targeting an enemy with my weapon draw they will aggro even when they are non-aggressive creatures. 95% of the time that they aggro like this they end up running past me.

    However when targeting them normally. As in Left-click..they do not aggro. Combat state bug perhaps, or just pure target ranged calculation.

    My thoughts on this are that it might be in the way the enemy visually detects me and is not in a proper ratio with the creature's actual physical location. Might see farther then he really is.

    Perhaps it's just lag? Server or client.
