SO anyway i'm trying to create a server using Reaper MaNGOS 5931 with ScriptDev 412|Server Compatible With 2.4.2, and following the guide to get it up and running, i also followed the guide at http://www.reaper-x.com/2007/10/10/wow-mangos-map-vmaps-and-dbc-extraction-guide/ to extract all the maps/vmaps and dbc files. This is all well and good and it takes a fair while to get all that stuff done. I then ran the reaper-x-mangos batch file and let it do the doings. Then i went into the config file and specified where all the maps files are. It then proceeds to tell me that map 0004331 is none compatible and that none of the map files are where i specify. Even though there are 3 folders in the location i put in the config file totalling 2.93gb. I also used a later version of ad.exe to extract the maps once i realised that the ad file included in the guide was an older one. I thought that it might've been that but it's not.

So anyway, check out the picture provided that seems to be my only problem, but it's a big one.

Use this link and install the newest version.... http://www.reaper-x.com/2008/07/11/mangos-6245-udb-psdb-scriptdev2-r474/

so long as you have WoW client version 2.4.2 you'll be fine. I know the process for extracting the maps/vmaps is long.. I have had about 8 diff servers/versions. But delete your old maps/vmaps, and using the new stuff re-do the server. In the long run, you'll save nerves and time.

This might help as well http://forums.reaper-x.com/topic/guide-for-new-install

    1. move your data directory ....holy cow that's an awfully long path to reach the data the program needs
    2. you may need to re-extract the maps... alot of us had this prob and simply solved it that way
    3. remove "read only" attribute on the data directory
