The reason why the BIOS isn't around on the net is because it's legally the property of Sony, anyone putting up a copy of it who is found out will recieve a lovely little cease & desist letter. To obtain a copy simply go to a torrent site such as:
and look up 'PS2 BIOS' click on the 'download .torrent' link and your torrent software (BitComet, Azerus, uTorrent etc) will catch it and open up allowing you to download.

it's so confusing
you need to just give me it gosh
you know it took me 2 hours to figure how to extracted it
then it took me 1 hour to find one of the bios dude you should only have 1
i had to find like 10 of them that's bogust dude
you should have it on there man it should be working already
then when i was clicking the ps2 thinging then alot of words popped up
i was like dude
well dude you should just send me the stuff
wait you should just send me the whole program that has everything already
oh yeah and some games
