NPC/Quest Issue

   I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

   Death Kingh quest: #13189 - Warchief's Blessing. Thrall won't talk to me. In or out of GM mode. Tried logging out and in. Set my rep to exhaulted with ORG. The yellow question mark is above his head. I've abandoned and re-added.

   When I abandon the above, other low level appear. But he won't talk to me to accept.

   Any suggestions on how to complete?

   gm commands:

   .lookup quest [quest name]

   .complete quest [quest id]
   or
   .quest complete [quest id]

   cant remember the order...

   The issue here is the database team has not yet coded a lot of WOTLK stuff yet. Keep your DB up to date and perhaps in the future it will work out. =)

   use the .commands to see a list of commands you can use. you need to be level 3 gm to use all of them

   Tried that, it didn't work.

   I just went into the database for my character and changed the rewarded from 0 to 1 to work.

   Okay now that brings me to a thought I had this morning as I was playing at 4am. Utguard Keep was there, dropped lots of money no items.

   So I was wondering if on these repacks someone was actually going through and hand programming the database with all the creatures, quests, drops and such. Is that true????

   If it is .... DAMN!!!! My hats off to you!!!! I mean I had respect for all the hard work in programming the emulation, but to go through and hand code the whole database. WOW!!!

   Na, usually its the Database team who does the scripting. In this case its the Unified Database Team
   http://udbforums.org/ who is doing all the creature spawns, loot table, quests, etc...
   Overall, a Repack consists of Mangos (engine), SD2/Acid (special scripting), and Unified Database(DB) which are all separate projects combined to make the private server. Reaper's Repack is a pre-compied MaNGOS/Trinity with a corresponding database all for windows and easy to setup and use.

   The newest runs on the Trinity Core engine and a combined database. And yes there are 100's of people going thru and literaly scripting every aspect of the game, that is one of the reasons it takes so much time to get a unified re-pack out.

   P.S. ........ you can track the revision changes yourself by going to the Trinity website, it is also a helpful place to find patches and custom stuff.
