What version are you using? Arcane Fire or WOTLK? As for AF, the extraction for vmaps can take over 2h, make sure it finishes and you set up the datadir correctly. And, concerning the NPCs, does mangos produce any errors?

Did you enable vmaps in your mangos.conf; are you sure you got vmaps from wow 2.4.3?

then VMaps should be working. As for the NPCs, does mangos give any errors?

It's a problem with your MaNGoS database, the creature_template table doesn't seem to be being created properly for some reason. VMaps are only used to determine whether or not players/npc's/creatures can see each other in the environment, so you need to re-install.

crap

Yeah you can keep your old stuff, just back up the characters, mangos, realmd and scriptdev2 directories in ?:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data. Re-install the database and if everything is set up correctly then just copy your old data over the top except delete creature_template files from your mangos directory before you copy it over. It looks as if vendor info is stored in npc_vendor so if you've created a new vendor rather than edit an existing one you probably would have to respawn the vendor itself but the data should stay.

Take a look here and that will give you the commands to find the info you need to track down and back up the vendor info from creature_template. I can't be bothered explaining it, and if you don't care enough to figure it out then you shouldn't be messing with it. In future don't customize a database that isn't fully functional, it's hard enough continually upgrading one that is
