new Ad.exe not working

    i have downloaded multiple copies of the the newest ad.exe only to have it stop at 41% each time and only 643 maps i let the last one run for 8 hours and it did not get past 41% 643 maps. any one have any help for this issue?

    You're still supposed to use the extract-map.bat that comes with the 5931 repack, but you just need the new ad.exe right aside with it.

    All you need to do is make sure that there is a empty maps folder in the same directory as ad.exe, running the exe or the bat have no difference.The bat just creates a maps directory before it runs ad.exe

    I'm having the exact same problem. Latest version of ad.exe, and it keeps dying at 41%. Are you using Windows Vista too? From what I've found on the mangos forums and google, it seems to be a windows-only problem.

    Could be Permissions related. Make sure that the files are permissible under the User currently logged in.
    Try Disabling the UAC (user access control) for a short period. Try running it as Administrator. From what I have experienced, Vista is very Nazi about permissions (especially x64)
