At first it was 0004331.map, and I downloaded a (I guess current) version from filefront. It doesn't have 0004832.map, which is my current problem. I've tried downloading all the .map files to no avail, reextracting my WoW maps, and messing with the / and \ in datadir. NOTHING has worked! I still get the same error message:

0004832.map is not a compatible version. please recreate with ad.exe blah blah blah.

I cannot get this working! I am running 2.4.3 WoW and an arcane fire repack.....everything is current and should be working. please help!

Have you placed them in data/vmaps; data/dbc and data/maps? Are you using the ad.exe that came with AF? have you let it finish? Is you wow really 2.4.3?

Yes i have placed all the files correctly. but I am NOT using the Ad.exe file that came with AF; it would give me an error message every time so i downloaded a different version. I did, however, let it finish. And yes, my WoW is 2.4.3: I play on a live account, so it therefore MUST be 2.4.3.

But I suppose the Ad.exe file is my problem? I will try to use the one that came with Arcane Fire again and let you know how that goes.

Well, I got everything to work and was playing just fine. But then I restarted my computer and tried to log in again. Mangos doesn't beep at the end when it's loaded up anymore (even though everything seems loaded fine), and when I try to connect in the WoW log in screen it says "Unable to Connect". All of my paths and .conf files are right. I don't know why it suddenly doesn't work. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Is realmd running? and did you config your realm for the correct IP (fresh install bat, lan option)

yes, realmD is running. However, if I open realmD first and then open mangosD.exe, mangosD.exe stops at world database...no error message, just stops executing commands.

But If i open it first, it runs all the way through and loads up, and then I can open RealmD. However, I believe this is what is causing my problem, and I don't know how to fix it!

I tried the lan option on fresh install, but it didn't change anything

I would recommend you installing SqlYog and use it as your database editor.
Check what your realmd IP is from SqlYog
    realmd > Tables > realms
Make sure it is pointing to your server (or router if your ports are forwarded)
Maybe that could be an issue
