    I am using WinXP Pro SP3 with .NET 2.0 SP1.

    Also, I have problem with WOW. My WoW is patched:

    WoW-2.4.2.8278-to-2.4.3.8606-enUS-patch.exe

    This is a newer version than your mangos uses. Message follows...
    =======================
    Some required *.dbc files (1 from 55) not found or not compatible:
    D:\WOW Server2.42\Data/dbc/spell.dbc (exist, but have 216 fields instead of 213) Wrong client version DBC file?
    =======================

    How do I fix this? I can not run my new version with the new extract files. And I can not run my new version with your old files. How do I fix this? Do I run older patch file to put it back to previous version?

    Thank you again.

    You need to go back to 2.4.2 because reaper mangos dosn't support 2.4.3
    The best ting I can recomend is copy all the update patchs in the wow folder and uninstall and reinstall stopplng at 2.4.2 allso change the patch server setting in the realmlist.wtf to your ip address to keep it from up dating.

    I use a slightly different, more patient approach. I make a copy of the WoW folder NOW and wait for the release of Mangos to catch up to that. It's easier and hasn't failed me yet. My old wow242 folder now works perfectly with the latest Mangos.

    If you play WoW on an official server 2 copies of it is definitely the way to go. The 2nd copy will work perfectly so you don't have to stress about that. Also make sure you run it directly from WoW.exe and not the launcher as that will automatically attempt to update. Remember that when you update WoW it will also change the realmlist.wtf back to default and your link to the WoW.exe (if you have one on your desktop) back to the launcher. As has been mentioned in another thread here, you don't need to re-install WoW, just delete the patch/patch-2.mpq files in World Of Warcraft\data. (cheers for this avel) run repair.exe only checking reset the cache and then reset and check files, Best bet is to google WoW update patches and grab a copy and back them up somewhere, never know when you might need them.
