I have several items that I just want to be "viewed" not bought. I used to just set the buycount to "0" and be fine. With the new update Mangos automatically resets it to the default "1" making the "window shopping" items completely free to my users! Ahh! I went into my DB, checked and it still says it's "0" but in game you can click on it and get it for free... I was wondering if their is a way to shut this failsafe off. If their isn't, it's back to Mangos 5472 for me...
thx

Also, as a side note, When a item of mine is in the backpack, it displays a question mark instead of its original display. I'm not sure if this has anything to with the question mark displays but when I right click the item to equip it, it don't work. I have to manually drag it over to my "character" menu.
Another side note: I imported my custom items via a SQL dump. I had to delete the "extendcost" and ConExtendcost" (or however their spelled...) from the "/*Data for the tableitem_template*/" line, then I manually went through the items data and deleted the values for the extendcost thingys. After I did that it dumped fine : ) My previous Manogs was PSDB X9 SD2 297. Just some extra info just in case.Posted 1 year ago » Permalink

I've done some research and I now understand the question mark issue. The items display id's are hardcoded in 2.4.2 Thats makes since and also is a very bi^&y thing for blizzard to do... lol. the Buycount issue is top priority now. If anyone could shed some light on how to disable the Mangosd.exe's automatic buycount changer ability, that would be great!

My realm doesn't show up in the realm selection window. After canceling and re-logging on, it skips the realm selection and takes me on to my character selection screen where everything works fine! Lol, any suggestions on that would help as well. ; )
