I setup my wow server without much trouble. At first I just used the standard 127.0.0.1 default info for the address. I could connect from the pc that the serever was installed on as well as another vista pc on my network (gameserver is an xp box).

So after being happy with what I have accomplished I decieded to take a stab at letting freinds from outside login in. So using my already used "no-ip" dns name I set that to mysql db and people could connect fine.

Well I noticed since doing so I haven't been able to connect from my other vista pc. wich I'd like to use more then the xp box that the server is installed on. When I try on the vista box I get to the login and it tells me that the info I entered is incorrect. I have in the "realmlist.wtf file set to my local Lan address wich I would think would be correct. I know the info Im entering in at the login is correct as I can still login at the actual server. Any ideas why this other pc on my network would get the message that the information was not correct? I'd really rather play on that pc then the server due to it being a much better pc.

    thank you in advance!
    Great application!

That's what im using for the vista realmlist.wtf. Just the lan ip of the xp box. Strange why it say's that the information is not correct. I even tried creating a new account and it say's the same thing.

Just noticed something strange on my vista box. Even using the modified realmlist file I can access my normal wow account. The original realmlist file is not even in the wow directory. How is that?

I figured it out. I was renaming the file on my vista box "realmlist.wtf" when it was not in details view I guess. So basically it was named "realmlist.wtf.wtf" So then it must of been using the backup file I guess. Once I took the .wtf off I can log in fine. Bone head mistake on my part. wasn't looking close enough.
