Hi
Is it normal for the NPC's in this version to run through the walls and not path correctly?
For example if I walk to near a building with enemy npc's inside they will aggro me and run through the wall?
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks

The vmap.enableLOS and vmap.enableHeight settings in the mangosd.conf file need to be set to 1. You'll also need to extract the vmap files in addition to the dbc and map files.
The reason this is disabled by default is that it takes a fair bit of processor power to do these calculations if there are a lot of players on your server. It should be fine if it's just you and a few friends, though.
Mobs still won't path properly, because those types of algorithms are fiendishly difficult to program and would eat up a lot more processor time. At least you won't have to worry about mobs inside buildings charging you before you even know they're nearby, though.

i found the same problem, but it doesn't look to me that it uses too much processor although only me and my bro are playing at the same time, i'm using Pentium4 3GHz with 1GB DDR2 ram.

Im using this on my server, been having around 100 players online and processors been working for 3% only. 2x Intel Xeon™ X3360 2,83GHz.
instead I been having some problems with the "blink" spell,
since it sometimes say that you can use that spell.

the problem doesn't seem to stop, it continues and my game does not get slow after setting those two options to 1

you extracted Vmaps? and have them in the same folder as "dbc" and "maps"?
sounds like you maybe missed that.
