Hello, i downloaded your Mangos server and am receiving problems:
SQL: SELECT MAX<guild> FROM characters
query ERROR: Table 'characters.characters' doesn't exist
reapermangos5472/maps/0004331.map': not exist!
reapermangos5472/vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the mangos.conf file
I would really like assistance on this asap plz! thank you.

you probably missed a step.

I did everything correctly and went through it about 3 times over and am still having the same problem!
Any suggestions?

You're sure that you have set the paths to the files corectly?
You haven't installed MySQL or put the Reaper Mangos files in a different directory and then used the default paths?
I can also vouch that those instructions are all you need to get it up and running. It appears that you either haven't created all the files necessary (vmaps are optional, although you want them) or the paths are wrong.

All the paths are default and i have no problems with mySQL.
Everything works fine when i set up the server using the "reaper-x easy mangos.exe" but when i try to start the server then i get the problem with that map.
i have all the folders in the right places (maps, dbc and vmaps) but it doesn't recognise the vmaps folder or the "0004331.map" file under the maps folder.
I have had it for a month now... and have tried everything that comes to my mind.

According to gamerzplanet forum, you have to find and change this (in the mangosd.conf):
DataDir = "@MANGOSD_DATA@"

Assuming you are using c:\ to store your MaNGoS related files, it appears that your DataDir path currently is (from your first post)
"c:\reapermangos5472"
So you don't have a "c:\reapermangos5472\data" directory?, you just have the dbc, maps & vmaps directories inside? A little messy but I don't see why it wouldn't be technically valid.
The IP address in the config is set to 127.0.0.1? This is very important as it's neccesary to loop the data back.
It appears as if your database hasn't been installed properly as the characters.characters (characters table, in the characters dir under MySQL\MySQL Server x.x\data) table should have been created at setup.

Thanks for the help guys, when i got 5931 and did everything over it seemed to have fixed the problem.

omg... i am stuck with another problem...
Loading Creature Data...
SQL: SELECT creature.guid, id, map, modelid,equipment_id, position_x, position_y, position_z, orientation, spawntimesecs, spawndist, currentwaypoint,curhealth, curmana, DeathState, MovementType, spawnMask, event FROM creature LEFT JOIN game_event_creature ON creature.guid = game_event_creature.guid
query ERROR: Unknown column 'spawnMask' in 'field list'
==================================================== 100%
>> Loaded 0 creature. DB table 'creature' is empty.
Loading Creature Addon Data...
Error in creature_template_addon table, probably sql file format was updated <there should be 8 fields in sql>.
Could someone please shed some light on my situation??
