    Reaper,

I have a couple of questions/observations that cropped up during my 1st 7 levels of playing. I don’t know if these are MaNGOS problems or related to something I need to do and didn’t do!

Collision detection seems off as MOBs pass through objects/walls/ground somewhat as they move about. Also, they will stack on top of eachother so it may look like one mob, but may in fact be 4 or 5!
Things seems to move slightly too fast. Actions seems sped up. Mine and the mobs.
NPCs act strangely. guards do nothing. They won’t help in a fight.
Questgivers don’t stop moving and may wander off as you talk to them.
A “dead” or unconscious NPCs remain standing up instead of lying on the ground.
A boss didn’t “talk” as I think he was supposed to. Some dialog is supposed to take place I believe.
One NPC I noticed seemed to be the wrong NPC for the locale, but was following the proper NPCs path it seemed.
Some quests/scripts don't seem to work. For example, an ambush was supposed to happen and I had to defend an NPC. The ambush never starts.

Anyway, as I said. No idea where these problems originate, or if they’re fixable. If they are, how? Did I forget a step somewhere?

    Thanks!

My apologies for the late post, internet troubles, how would I go about fixing the sql database? What would be the proper method to entering the missing entries.

Thank you for your time and assistance,

Actually, that sound like poor server performance. You must be hosting and playing on the same computer, right?

    1) What mangos release are u using?
    2) What WoW patch are u using?
    3) What are the specs of the server that is hosting WoW? CPU, Ram?

Since the emulator provides npc location, that might be the problem is performance.

    Mangos Release: 4703
    WoW Patch: 2.2.3
    CPU: AMD Athlon 3500+
    RAM: 1GB

Yeah, I am hosting and playing from the same computer.

    Thanks for your help.

About the broken-quests piece, when I'm not playing and just hosting, the problem of some quests being "broken" continue, even if I'm not playing. Would that be a server performance issue as well?

    Thank you,

@OneAnarchist: Thanks for picking this up! Glad to hear it isn't just me with this problem.

@KageBoshi: Yeah. Same computer hosting and playing. Pretty much the same setup as OneAnarchist, too. AMD Athlon 3800+, 2.4GHz, 1 GB Ram.

    Any thoughts?
