I got the source code for Trinity core and Im trying to learn how to do all this compiling and patching. I have done google search after search and looked at their boards and so on trying to find a guide on how to compile and add custom patches.
I see all these sites devoted to custom content but I can't figure out how to add it. These are the tools I have right now. TortoiseHG, TortoiseSVN, MS C++ 2008 express, Navicat...and I am having a devil of a time trying to teach myself how to modify the SQL files as well as trying to compile and apply custom content to my server. You guys have been the best so far at teaching us noobs about most of this coding stuff. I would love to see some guides on these topics.
The guide on Mangos compiling helped some, but I keep getting errors when I compile the latest Trinity Core source. Basically coming here and posting this is a last resort for me because I have exhausted everything I can think of to look for. Any help or direction to guides is appreciated.
