I've been wanting to create a classic WoW server for some time now, however I have no idea how I would do this other than using an older version of mangos. The problem with me doing that is there would be a lot more bugs, and a lot of things in pre-bc repacks lacked scripting. Put simply what I'm trying to do is create a classic server that has the latest scripts. I know your going to say 'just set the accounts to pre-bc, noob!', but by doing that talents will still be BC. It may seem minor, but I would really like to have a server that was exactly how a server was during pre-bc. Any suggestions are welcome!

Sorry to say but I can't see a way that it could be done without a hell of a lot of work on your part. If I was going to attempt it I'd be looking around WoW Server forums and trying to find someone with and old copy of Mangos floating around. I don't imagine that a newer build would be able to be reverted because the login process would have been massively altered since then. It's quite likely possible to glean the information you would need from the dbc's of a pre-bc install. As far as I'm aware MPQElite is the only program that can open the common.mpq file which should be where the dbc's are stored. After that you'd have to take the database from a new Mangos build and hack it to pieces, you'd need to be making changes all over the shop.
Basically it's just not worth the effort, especially given that it's only like a month until WotLK is released. It seems unlikely that there would be many people interested in forsaking new content for old skool kicks if you were planning on going public with it.

Well since you've pointed out the difficulty of reverting, I decided I would just set accounts to pre-bc. However I noticed that the runes in MC are missing so I can't summon Domo or Ragnaros, which is quite a let down. Did I install the repack correctly because I thought it worked?

One more thing I forgot to also add was LoS isn't working either.

Having never run MC legit (never could get a group together) i'm unsure but I couldn't find a way to get them to spawn on my runs through it so I just summoned them myself. The GM command '.npc add (#creature id)' will create any that you want to appear. Although I usually just use the MangAdmin add-on to do all of that stuff so I don't have to remember so many commands. You need to set vmap.enableLOS & vmap.enableHeight to 1 in mangosd.conf for LoS to work, it says that they're enabled by default but from what I can remember they're not.

Thank you for your reply's IntErlOpr. There is one more question I have however, is collision working in this repack or only LoS?

I'm unsure what your trying to get at? LoS shouldn't work through walls etc if that's what your meaning, having LoS enabled will only allow npcs to attack if they can actually see you.

Collision is where a npc will be unable to create a path through a wall/object to reach an attacking player. Therefore the npc must create a path around a wall/object, this is very exploitable.
