    Step 5 Mangos Config Editor. The path to the maps,vmaps and dbc folder. is this correct?
    Go back and check.
    Realm name? Step 6.
    Permissions on the directory? You / Everyone - Full control you can write and read from it?

    Go over these steps again and check.

    Did you see the matrix thing when you installed the DB for the first time. Option 1

    Without knowing the dir structure thats all i can suggest?

    Into C:/Program Files/World Of Warcraft
    Make a folder called "maps"
    run AD.exe
    It will extract maps to this folder.
    Copy maps folder to the data directory where the vmaps and dbc folder are.
    Check to see 0004331.map is in thiat folder before you copy it over.

    if this fails with same error then goto reaper easy folder and open mangosd.conf file with notepad find the entry where it says data directory setting and change it to c:\mangos\data or whatever yours is. Close and save
    For some reason the reaper easy file is not setting the dir in the config file.

    No the DataDir should be set to

    DataDir = "c:\mangos\data"

    if u didn't install the mangos to that directory change it accordingly
