   Supposed to click on the 'Eye of Acherus Control Mechanism' and do four things with it.

   When you do it just says: Fizzled

   Don't know what I did. I had tried typing '.quest complete 12641' a number of times and getting quest not found. While I was searching around on the web about this it timed out. When I tried it again it worked.

   Go figure.

   now the trick is to get it to work with the users
   I think just about everything that is "vehicle" related in wotlk is not currently scripted - if you look in your db you'll see that its blank thats why the quest doesnt perform as expected. So gm's are left with the old fasion .quest complete xxx

   but if you follow through with the chain, you'll see that another one doesnt work either - its below that level, called Harvest something, but you cannot click on the mounts to fly either /sigh

   even quest like FLIGHT OF THE WINTERGARDE DEFENDER doesnt work because the whistle requires you to ride the gryphon and rescue the villages. but the gryphon appears, but you cant mount him.

   to STAR'S REST is another flight one that doesnt work - but I think I will make a teleport to comp for that quest. Again, there are a lot of "vehicle" quest that don't work. So the 70-80 quest will have to wait until the scripting is completed for those quest.

   Ok just for fun:
   I made a quick "fix" for the Stars' Rest.
   1. Made a portal that goes to Star's Rest (I put it in the tent next to Rodney Wells)
   2. Changed the text of Rodney to tell players that they have to use the portal.
   Then the quest works fine. I did it so many times, not sure if the ride back will work. It didnt the first time, until i turned in the quest there, then flew back.
   So there is an idea - that works

   I didn't see any, but have there been release notes pertaining to the scripting for NORTHREND?
