He's very in-active these days.

Check out an emulator called PCSX2.
Put the BIOS files from the download link into the BIOS folder of PCSX2.
I assume you already have dvd images of PS2 games? If not, then you can rip them from PS2 DVD's that you own (you can google on how to do that, should be loadsa guides). You run the emulator and set ur graphics, sound, dvd plugins etc. Then you finally run the dvd image with the emulator and you should have a working PS2 emulator.
Word of warning, you'll need a pretty high-end computer because this is a very power-hungry application. I've got a pretty decent rig and even this cant handle Gran Turismo 4 that well.

2.sooooooo i download the thingy and put the things ur .rar contains in the bios folder right ?
3.can't i run the game strait through a PS2 DVD game ?

2. Yep.
3. Yeah I think you can. There should be a dvd plugin for it somewhere.
4. Sounds good, although its more about the graphics card than anything else.

Graphics card=ATI Radeon x2300
Good huh ?

Hate to burst your bubble, but i'm currently running Radeon 4670 1GB and even I seem to be finding it hard to get good frames. Maybe my settings were messed up, but I wasn't bothered to fix it so I gave up pretty quickly and just bought a ps2 lol.
If you can find some tweeks and guides on tuning the emulator, i'm sure you can get it running at playable frames.

bang....i got a PS2 but im out of my country and its some time till i go back and well....i wanna play the discs i bought here since in my country the discs suck.....i have to exchange em 3-4 times be4 they work and sometimes never but i found a solution i know how to download and burn games with a program and they actually work....but here in this country they have crazy made up things like.....Grand theft auto SA Pro Street And GTA VC Merna Wa Khalil (thats a turkish program translated to arabic(my language)) and lol i mean their funny and since here they old almost no one uses high speed DSL and most ppl dont use internet at all so its rare that someone would buy such games and upload em so i wont be able to find syrian creations on net
so i have to get stuff here and take em with me to Kuwait (my place) were i have some heck of a internet
1 MB speed very good for kuwait and still cant get those stuff and sometimes they dont even pass through the airport coz their copy....and might get cought so like if i take 10 discs i lose 10$ almost if i get cought....Yeh 1 disc 1$

I'm sure taking 5 to 10 discs are fine. Just as long as you're not carrying crate loads abroad, they won't check you at the airport.
Although, i've heard flights from Malaysia or Singapore might be a different story.

bro i aint in Malaysia lol......ey why u talk like that ur like a GM or a game or somethin ?
Posted 3 months ago » Permalink
Nope not a GM. Just saying that I remember reading an article where somebody was stopped at the airport coming from singapore, with about 50/60 pirated dvds in his bag. pretty stupid huh lol.
