Now the script will config phpmyadmin, copy a registry-page to the apache-server. ******************************************************************************* **** Downgrade WoW 3.0.9 [optional] **** You need a wow 3.0.9 client for extraction of some datas and of course to play on the server. When you have a client with a higher version, you can downgrade the client: 1. Go to your World of Warcraft folder, usually C:/program files/world of warcraft/ 2. Find the Data folder 3. Go into enUS/enGB/deDE ... folder 4. Find and remove 'patch-enUS.mpq'/'patch-enGB.mpq' / 'patch-deDE.mpq' 5. Open up repair.exe in your main world of warcraft directory 6. Uncheck all check boxes and click the 'check files only'button 7. You have to let the repair run all the way to the end 8. You should be now at version 3.0.0 You have two options here: 9a. You can use the world of warcraft launcher (launcher.exe in your main /world of warcraft/ folder), or 9b. Download the patches manually from from a website such as <a href="http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors" rel="nofollow">http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors</a> . 10a. Launcher option. Open up the launcher and click play. Then type in any garbage login info, and it will start patching you up. Keep doing this until you have patched to 3.0.9. 10b. Download the patch(es) you want (make sure you have the right language version), and stick them into your world of warcraft folder and run the patches. 12. Use wow.exe from now on to play the game. (Launcher.exe resets realmlist to retail). 13. Don't forget to change your realm. ******************************************************************************* *** *** Custom SQL files \ Locations *** The repack support custom changes of the database. When you want to add additional sql files you can simple put the files in sql\CharactersCustomPatch for the character database sql\RealmdCustomPatch for the realmd database sql\WorldCustomPatch for the world database This file will be automatic added, when you create/rebuild the database. For example you can place your location files in the sql\WorldCustomPatch so the server will support other languages than english. Location-files can be found here: <a href="http://www.trinitydatabase.org/" rel="nofollow">http://www.trinitydatabase.org/</a> . You can found some (untested!) example-files in sql\*CustomPatch\disabled. I add the german translation from GTDB. Simple copy all the files form sql\WorldCustomPatch\disabled\GTDB to sql\WorldCustomPatch\ befor you start the install script. ******************************************************************************* *** *** Install TrinityCore *** When you want to upgrade from "Darkened Linux Trinity Core Repack v1" or from 2.4.3 - please read the upgrade-guide. Don't run "!trinity_install.bat"! First of all, make sure that your MySQL-server is running, then start !trinity_install.bat First Step: This is just a information-page. Second Step: When you don't use the XAMPP script you will now be asked for the path to the MYSQL\bin folder, for the database user name and password, for the name of the world, characters and realmd database. When you want to change this data, simple edit the "tools\config.bat". After that you will be asked for the name of the wow-server and the ip-adress. When you want to use it only on this pc, simple take "127.0.0.1". When you want to use the realm public / LAN you should enter your network-ip, dyndns, hamachi-ip or something like this. When you want to change your server name and ip-adress you can use "change_realm_name_ip.bat". Finaly you will be asked for a user name and password for a gm-account on the server. For default values (in []) simple hit return. Step 3: Now the database will be created. Old database will be overwritten! Step 4: TrinityCore need some datas of the wow-client. This step will extract this datas. But it need time (on my System about one hour!). When you already have 3.0.9 DBC, MAPS and VMAPS copy this folder to TrinityCore\ and you can skip this part. Step 5: Ready to use! You can start the server with "!trinity_start.bat" and stop with "!trinity_stop.bat". IMPORTANT: MySQL musst run bevor! You can do some addition configuration, when you edit the "TrinityCore\TrinityCore.conf". * * AHBot * A AHBot is included in this repack. I have add in SQL\CharactersCustomPatch\ and in SQL\RealmdCustomPatch a file "ahbot.sql". This files will add a character to the GM-Account, which you have created before. This Char will place all auctions in wow. By default the AHbot is disabled. You must activate the bot in the TrinityCore\TrinityCore.conf by changing the lines with AuctionHouseBot.EnableSeller AuctionHouseBot.EnableBuyer For more info read readme.ahbot.txt ******************************************************************************* *** *** Upgrade from "Darkened Linux Trinity Core Repack v1" or from 2.4.3 *** Important note: I don't have any test data, so i this is complet untested! Second problem is, that i don't know the exact version of the Darkened Linux repack, but i think, he doesn't run any database-updates, only the basic-file. * * Darkened Linux * Copy your TrinityCore.conf, TrinityRealm.conf, DBC, MAPS and VMAPS to the TrinityCore directory of this repack. When you have customized your world-database, you must extract all changings as sql-files in sql\WorldCustomPatch. It is not possible to convert the world database in revision 13, it must be recreated! After that launch the "darkendlinux.bat" - make sure that MySQL is running! * * Upgrade from 2.4.3 * Run "upgrade_from_2.4.3.bat" and prey! ******************************************************************************* *** *** Ports *** Follow ports are used: TrinityCore - TCP/8085 TrinityRealm - TCP/3724 Apache/XAMPP - TCP/80 This port is only for internal use - don't route this to the internet: MySQL/XAMPP - TCP/3306 ******************************************************************************* *** *** Batch Files *** I add some batch files. Stop the Trinity-Server bevor you run the database-scripts! * * INSTALL * !trinity_install This will install and config the Trinity Core. !xampp_install Download and install XAMPP (MySQL and APACHE) create_maps_vmaps_dbc This script will extract the maps, vmaps, dbc for the TrinityCore server. xampp_remove_xampp_content remove the XAMPP demopages !trinity_update_repack Update-script for future use. This will backup your database, extract the archiv and update the database. shutdown_update_restart this script will start a 15 Min countdown on an active server, start the repack-update-script and restart the server automatic. IMPORTANT! Don't activate any other window during shutdown! * * CONTROL * !trinity_start Start the trinity server. Including CustomPatch. custompatch_* This script will patch the database with the sql files located in "sql\*CustomPatch" folder. update_* Update the database with the sql files located in "sql\*Update" folder optimize_database This will optimize the world, character and realmd database repair_database This will MYSql-repair the world, character and realmd database. This will not correct missing or wrong tables! ******************************************************************************* *** *** Config your WOW-Client *** Simple copy the additionals\change_realmlist.bat to your WoW-Directory and run it. Type the IP/Address of your WoW-Server and the script will update the realmlist.wtf of your wow-client. To restore the original settings, simple type "org" as address. Start your WoW-Client now with wow.exe - don't run launcher.exe.
